Biathlon Orienteering Finnish Championships and World Cup 5rd and 6th Competition, 6th and 7th of May 2016 Vimpeli, Finland
Alajärven Ankkurit invites you to the open Finnish championships and the World Cup competition in Biathlon Orienteering. The competition will also be the Finnish Military Federation championships.
The competitions will be held in Vimpeli, located 125km from Vaasa airport and Vaasa harbour.
Programme:
Friday May 6th
Individual Sprint Competition
Starts with 1 minute intervals – orienteering – prone shooting: 5 shots – (penalty loops) – orienteering – standing shooting: 5 shots (M/W16 and M/W14 prone shooting) – (penalty loops) – running to finish. Classes M/W14 may shoot with a support.
Competition classes are M14- M70 and W14- W70.
The Finnish Military Federation championships (individual competition) classes are Conscripts, M21, M40, M50 and Women.
In the Finnish Military Federation team competition two conscripts and two fastest men from classes M21 and M40 are included in a team.
Focusing time: 16.00 – 17.30 / 4 pm – 5.30 pm
First start at 18.00 / 6 pm
Saturday May 7th
Individual normal length route Mass Start Competition
Mass Starts staggered by classes – orienteering – prone shooting: 10 shots – (penalty loops) – orienteering – standing shooting: 10 shots (M/W16 and M/W14 prone shooting), – (penalty loop) – orienteering – running to finish. Classes M/W14 may shoot with a support.
Competition classes are M14 – M70 and W14 – W70.
The Finnish Military Federation conscripts compete in classes M/W 20 and M/W 21.
Focusing time: 09.00-10.30 / 9 am – 10.30 am
First start at 11.00 / 11 am

Registration deadline is Friday the 29th of April 2016 at 24.00 / 12 pm (midnight).
The Registration has to include following information: the competitor’s name, club, competition class, year of birth, EMIT-number or a need of a rental EMIT-card.
Control systems
EMIT -cards will be used in the competition.

§ Normal length Mass Start competition 20 € (EUR)/person

Insurance
Every competitor must have their own insurance coverage. Competition organizer does not take any responsible of the insurance coverage of the competitors.
Guidance
The competition centre is The Biathlon Centre of Lakis Sport à 6,5 kilometres from Hoisko towards Vimpeli along the road 68 and after that driving time about 5 minutes to the competition centre (signposts).
